"Haha, sorry about that!" This article was written in jest ;) Don't take yourself too seriously. It's not worth it :)##Here is the content for this post: The staff at Winston & Strawn LLP has compiled a list of basic rules for operating a projector. 1. Projector must be turned on to use. 2. Turn on projector before connecting audio or video input device(s). 3. Projector does not get hot. 4. Take off lens cap before connecting video device(s). 5. Do not operate without a lens cap on the projector lens. 6. Projector does not need to be cleaned with Windex or other cleaning agents, and in fact, doing so will damage the projector and void the warranty (if applicable). 7. Never hang your equipment from the ceiling...no matter how tempted you are to do so, please resist the urge! 8. Do not operate projector in a space with excessive amounts of water, steam, or food/drink. 9. Do not look directly into the lens when the projector is on. 10. Do not hit the "reset" button of your camera or video device when it appears on screen, even if you are just joking around with your friends. 11. Camera does not project images onto wall. 12. If you have an obsession with ceiling tiles, then please get help! Seriously though, do not touch ceiling tiles while operating your projector! You could get injured and it will definitely void your warranty (if applicable). 13. Do not let your friends insert their fingers into the projector or touch the lens of the projector while it is on. 14. Do not use "3D glasses" to operate your projector (this will damage the device). 15. Don't use your cell phone while operating your projector...especially on airplanes! Most airlines will confiscate your phone if they catch you using it on an airplane, but this advice is for all other places too! 16. Never look directly at lasers (beams of light), especially in a dark room with a naked eye. 17. Never look directly at the projector screen! 18. If you are operating a large scale projector, never leave its keys in the on position while unattended. 19. Keep cats off of your lens cap! 20. If you are operating an old projection system with an old-school "5-pin" connection, make sure all of your equipment is plugged in properly UP TO THE VERY END (and no playing around with it afterwards!) 21. Do not operate any non-projection system equipment on/in/next to any projection system components (this includes computers, hard drives, USB devices, power strips...). 22. cfa1e77820
